{ } MY PROJECTS
Swapify
swapify.netlify.comThe goal of Swapify is to help students save money. Students already spend thousands of dollars on tuition, they shouldn't have to spend hundreds more on textbooks when they can just swap them with their classmates on campus. Swapify facilitates this for the user. A user can post their textbooks that they want to swap and search all available textbooks to swap for. Users interact by sending a message to the owner of a book that they would like to swap for.

Hangry
hangryy.herokuapp.comI created Hangry to solve two of the biggest conundrums when it comes to eating out. Agreeing on a restaurant with your group and remembering the restaurant you heard about last week. Hangry allows the user to save restaurants to their account and randomly generate a restaurant from their list.

BookEx stemmed from my passion for learning and reading. The user can input a book that they enjoyed and BookEx will generate a list of books similar to the user input. The user can then click on one of the related results to be taken to a synopsis of the book and a list of used copies of the book being sold on Amazon. The user can click buy on any of the listings to be taken directly to Amazon with the book already placed in their shopping cart.

{ } About Me
Why I build . . .
Learning is a passion of mine, and the fast pace of change in the industry is one of the reasons I enjoy it so much. I am constantly learning how I can improve on already existing skills and learn new libraries or frameworks to expand my skill set.
Solving real world problems is the driving motivation when I create an application. There are countless possibilities with technology, and I love finding new ways to solve everyday problems to make users' lives easier. All the while, creating an elegant UI and a UX that is exciting but still simple for all users.
At any given moment you can find me learning a new library or framework, backpacking through the wilderness, reading a good book, doing something active, or working on my latest application.
